Same-Kawa (Ray Skin) is for Japanese swords of Tsuka handle, the size is approx. 10" wide at widest part, and 18" long at longest part. Large enough to wrap usual
sized Tsuka of Katana or Tachi. Also, it uses for Wakizashi or Tanto tsuka.

This Same-kawa is a typical traditional dried hard skin type for durable handle grip usage, unlike apparel use Rayskin hide, which is tanned/untanned rayskin, attached fabric or lamb skin material.
